Theme/Spelling words: chocolate, cacao, texture, solid, liquid, fermentation, nutrition, ingredients, manufacturer, confectionary

List spellings in alphabetical order; write synonyms and antonyms for words (where appropriate); create a crossword puzzle for your theme words; write your theme words in sentences or use all of them in a short story, include some effective language features e.g. similes, metaphors, alliteration and personification.

Write a set of instructions/recipe for the chocolate cake you baked in your Maths activity; be sure to include a list of ingredients and equipment. You may then like to film it and pretend you are the host of a cooking show! (Genre of writing: Instructions).

Write a story imagining you wake up one morning and discover that everything you touch turns to chocolate. (Genre of writing: Narrative)

Write a review on the last chocolate bar you ate (or it could be that you are comparing two chocolate bars). You could make a vlog and film your review; showing the bar, the packaging, describing the taste, is the packaging recyclable? How many stars will you give the chocolate bar end of your review? List as many adjectives as you can to describe chocolate.
