Learning By Topic KS1: The Library and Science

Browse the library for science books. See if you can find a book/s with some age appropriate science experiments. Borrow the book/s and then carry out the experiments. Write up your experiment and remember to write a prediction (hypothesis). Top Tip: you can find some free KS1 experiment writing templates online.

Find a book about the human body (aimed at KS1 age). Choose a body part (eyes, ears, heart, brain etc.) and find out how it works, draw and label a diagram.
