Sugar skulls are a popular symbol during Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). They are not a scary symbol (as skulls are portrayed for Halloween) but rather a happy, colourful and smiling symbol that celebrate peoples ancestors and loved ones that have passed. Decorate a skull suitable for a Day of the Dead celebrations. (You may like to make your own sugar skull and then decorate, buy a pre made blank one or use clay to mould a skull and then decorate it once dry)

Design a sign/logo for your restaurant (see English activity)

Create a paper mosaic of the Mexican Flag. Top Tip: Use as much recyclable paper as possible.

Design and make a piƱata!
