Creative Writing 2: The Beginning

In the second of our sessions this week I reallllllllly want you to remember that you have a HUGE opportunity at the beginning of every story to paint a vivid image in the readers mind. Remember the following things:

• Don’t waste the opportunity to describe the setting before jumping into the story. 
• WSSSC – describe the weather, sight, sound, smell and character 
• Start your sentences in interesting ways
• Upgrade your nouns to ensure your description makes your teacher say wow!
