Remember that when you are writing, you must make an effort to keep the reader engaged in every sentence. Once of the best ways to upgrade your description is through interesting verbs. In one quick switch, when the word run is changed to charged, the reader suddenly gets a clearer image of the character running at full pelt, huffing and puffing. The biggest challenge we have to overcome is making sure our chosen word makes sense.
